What is State College Teener? A. "SC Teener" is many things: It is a charitable organization that operates two baseball fields. It is a physical location (643 Airport Rd.) in State College, PA. It is a family of related leagues that provide recreational baseball opportunities to players ages 13 and above.
Can I play baseball at Teener? A. Yes, we offer a variety of opportunities for players who have aged out of Little League. Find one that is right for you by checking out the "Our Leagues" link above.
Are the SC Teener leagues part of a larger governing organization? A. No. The main SC Teener leagues (Junior Division, Senior Division, and Fall Ball) are 100% independent, which allows us to structure baseball experiences in whatever way makes most sense for our players. But, some of our affiliated leagues (e.g., St. Joe's Varsity Baseball, Penn State Baseball Club, The National High School Fall Baseball League) are members of larger organizations that have their own set of specific rules.
Can I play in more than one of your leagues at the same time? A. Absolutely! You're welcome to play in as many of our leagues as you are eligible for and have time to play in. But you must register and pay for for each league separately.
Can my organization rent out your fields for practices, games, tournament hosting, or clinics? A. Yes. Our cages can be reserved by anyone through our online booking system (payment due at time of registration). If you would like to discuss how to book a field (or the entire facility) for a practice, game, or tournament, please email us at: admin@statecollegeteener.org to discuss dates, time, logistics, and cost.
Can I and/or my child use your facility if no one else is on it? A. Anyone who is registered to play in any of our leagues can use the facility for personal use if the area you wish to use is not being used for a scheduled event. Instructors who are interested in giving private lessons or other members of the community must use our book online system to reserve and pay for a time or email us at admin@statecollegeteener.org to discuss dates, times, logistics, and cost. Note: Anyone giving private lessons at our facility without booking the specific time-slot(s) in question will be banned from the facility.
Is Teener pet-friendly? A. Pets are not allowed on the fields but are welcome to spectate if they're leashed and well-behaved. Owners must clean-up after their pets. Anyone causing a disturbance may be asked to leave by an umpire or board member.
